Parc-Exchange

Mutual aid & Friendships in Parc-Extension

About

Parc-Exchange is a community-led project for the residents of Parc-Extension and surrounding neighborhoods, designed to encourage the free exchange of services and skills among neighbors, regardless of status, financial situation, or abilities.

Through Parc-Exchange, we help connect individuals based on their needs, skills, and availability. We also facilitate peer support groups where residents come together regularly to share skills, build relationships, and strengthen community ties.

Our goal is to build a stronger, more resilient Parc-Extension by fostering empowerment, reducing social isolation, and creating a culture of mutual aid and leadership within the community.

We track all Parc-Exchange activities through Airtable, allowing us to match participants, better understand community needs, and recognize involvement through support letters.

If your organization is interested in setting up a similar system to track and highlight community participation, feel free to reach out — we’d be happy to share our approach!
